Hello, my name is Braylon and I’m writing a blog about history. That probably puts some stereotypes in your head, for example: I’m probably a nerd, I read more than I socialize, I probably actually stayed awake during history class, and I’m probably kind of weird. Unfortunately, those are all true! I love history and I’m majoring in it at the University of Northwestern. You’re probably wondering what good that major is and well, so did my parents. In a history major, I read old books, try to understand what they mean, analyze the trends in history, and try to communicate that as clearly as possible. This blog is a fun way to practice that without having to follow the boring rules for research papers. I hope you learn a little something from my blog, but if not, at least I had fun!
